In week three of the series on sin, we walk through Romans 7 to show how sin twists even God’s good commands into opportunities for rebellion and death. Paul reminds us that the law is holy and good, but it cannot rescue us from the power of sin — it can only reveal our need. Sin acts like a parasite, attaching itself to our desires and draining life from us, but our hope is not in willpower. The answer to “Who will rescue me?” is found only in Jesus Christ our Lord.
