chosen initiative
The Chosen initiative by World Vision flips the traditional model of child sponsorship by allowing children to choose their sponsors, giving them the dignity and empowerment that poverty often takes away. Throughout December, those who want to participate will have their photo taken in the Forum lobby, then those photos will travel with three Forum staff members to North Horr, Kenya where children select who they’d like to partner with. Through this relationship, sponsors help support not only the child but their entire community with essentials like clean water, education, and healthcare. This Christmas season, Chosen invites us to reflect God’s love by offering children in North Horr, Kenya the world the joy of choice—and the hope of a brighter future.

Sunday, December 14 from 4:00-6:30 PM
Join us for an evening of joy and connection as we share the hope of Christmas through song! This family-friendly event is a chance for our church to serve the community together by visiting local nursing homes to sing carols and spread holiday cheer to residents. We’ll meet at the church for instructions before heading out in groups, then gather back at Forum’s pavilion for dinner and fellowship.
No cost and no sign-up required—just come ready to sing, smile, and celebrate the season together!

Bring your whole family and join us as we celebrate the birth of our Savior and worship Him through a time of singing Christmas carols, communion, and reflection. KIDS and student programming will not be available during these services.
