Go Big & Start Small

As a church staff, we are using this phrase more and more to describe a mindset we are slowly adopting. That phrase is simply a condensed truth we see throughout the scriptures. Time and time again in story after story, God uses the small steps of faith that people make to bring about a big change. 

We often look for a big change to happen in big ways. We start all kinds of new things, with big hopes for a big change. This is the time of year when many New Year's resolutions begin to emerge as evidence of our desire to change. Let me encourage you in this short time between Christmas and the new year - pick something small to start and watch how God will do big things.
