Last week we closed out a series called Recalculating. Like most of us during the past few months, our staff and ministry leaders had to do a lot of recalculating. So it should come as no surprise to anyone that we are going to recalculate when it comes to the date of our re-entry.

Our high school ministry was forced to adjust after their summer CIY conference was canceled and this past week hosted an impactful Forum Students event on our campus, after which we were notified that the parents of one of our students had tested positive for COVID.

In conversations with city officials and church leaders, it became apparent that this situation created the unique potential for unnecessary risk if we were to move forward with our original re-entry date.

While this isolated incident is unfortunate, and the timing is less than perfect, we will stay flexible, communicative, and trust that God will work in and through every situation and circumstance. Out of an abundance of caution, we have made the decision to shift our re-entry by two weeks.

So...save the date (again) for August 2 and join us in praying for God's mission to advance and for His message of hope to ring out through our lives.

One quick reminder: Our new livestream option will still roll out this Sunday which means that when service starts at 9 and 11 you'll want to be ready to join us right at 9 or 11. If you tune in at 9:05, you will catch the service 5 minutes after it has started.

For those of you who are not able to join us at those specific times, the on-demand option will be available each Sunday afternoon.
