How Can I Pray For You?

PrayForYou.jpg

It's a simple enough question.
It's one we can find ourselves rarely being asked, or even still, rarely asking. A few years ago, I met with one of our church members about an area of ministry where they were interested in serving. When we finished talking and walked to our cars in the parking lot, they put their hand on my shoulder (remember when we were closer than six feet to each other?) and asked, "How can I pray for you?"
The reason why, all these years later, I still remember that moment so vividly is that the question paired with their sincerity made a difference. It made a difference because I knew number one that they cared, but also because knowing someone was praying for me meant I wasn't alone in going to God. It helped remind me that I am a part of a spiritual family with a loving Heavenly Father who wants His people to cry out to Him in prayer.
From time to time, we need to be reminded to pray about everything. Like Paul said in Philippians 4:6:

"Don't worry about anything; instead, pray about everything. Tell God what you need, and thank him for all he has done."

You can make a difference in someone's life by simply asking, "How can I pray for you today?"
So let me ask you - how can I pray for you today? You can click here to let me know what is going on in your life and how I can pray for you today. I want you to know that I care and that you are not alone in going before God. Hopefully, it reminds you that you are a part of a spiritual family with a loving Heavenly Father who wants His people to cry out to Him in prayer.
I hope to see you on Sunday either in person or online at 9 and 11!
